Six String Concerts, Inc. was founded in 1988 by a group of friends who loved acoustic music and wanted to see the best performing songwriters here in Central Ohio. Frustrated by the lack of national acoustic acts playing in the area at the time, we decided to produce concerts ourselves.
Now in our 22nd year, Six String Concerts continues to present top national and regional acoustic musicians in a series of 8-10 concerts held between September and May. The concerts are held in intimate, smoke and alcohol-free environments that allow the performers and audiences an unhindered musical experience.

Our philosophy at Six String Concerts is to present a mix of established and emerging singer-songwriters. Shows are generally scheduled on Friday or Saturday nights and booked about 8-10 months in advance. We present eight to ten shows during our season which runs from September through May.
